How commissions are generated

Advertisers set commissions on approved sales or actions. Validation and payment depend on each advertiser relationship and network rules.

Before promoting, check which event earns commission, when it is approved and when it can be withdrawn. A click, application and paid sale are different events. Gross balances do not deduct your expenses or taxes.

1. Open the Rakuten Advertising program link and choose the affiliate or publisher route as appropriate.
2. Publisher profile with identifiable content and channels; apply to advertisers and comply with their traffic policies.
3. Read and retain the applicable agreement: eligible products, attribution, refunds, commission duration and payment methods available in your country.
4. Complete requested account and payment information. Wait for approval where required; use only the personal link issued by the dashboard.
5. Learn with the linked resources, check your link’s destination and publish a useful recommendation with affiliate disclosure. Review conversions and approved commissions before increasing spending.
